From the shore, the classic graceful lines of the Sheerline motor cruiser speak for themselves. Now step aboard to fully appreciate the superior design, technical features and build quality first hand.
Creature comforts are an integral element of enjoyable cruising and with a Sheerline motor cruiser, luxury comes as standard. Every detail is attended to from the quality of the fabrics and interior decor, to the ergonomically designed galley, heads and berths. Even hot air heating, holding tanks and radio/CD player are treated as standard.
With Sheerline, pleasurable and luxurious cruising is coupled with practicality and space efficiency. From the cockpit to the galley, the carefully designed layout maximises space and storage, whilst providing easy living. Every vessel is custom built with the highest quality materials by skilled craftsmen to ensure the owner's personal pleasure.
Each Sheerline is built to individual customer requirements, and owners are encouraged to be closely involved with aspects of the interior design and specification - with the result that each custom built boat is unique as its owner.
Its not only wood, trim, finishes that can be specified to meet personal tastes. The arrangement and size of berths, the saloon seating and even the configuration of the zip arrangement in the canopy - all these can be tailored to meet individual needs - and many of these features are incorporated in the standard price.
Built under the personal supervision of the Applegate family - owner's of Wroxham marine - Sheerline Motor Cruisers have evolved to be second to none in their class for quality, style, comfort and technical excellence.
Each vessel is built employing the skills of traditional craftsmen using only the finest of materials and equipment. The feel, warmth and beauty of hand crafted wood interiors exude an ambience rarely found in these days of mass production.
Whilst maintaining traditional skills and values, the latest concepts of design and innovative equipment have not been overlooked. Therefore all engineering and electronics are at the forefront of technology.
Our vessels are based on designs from some of the best boat designers in the field - John Bennett, John Moxham, Andrew Wolstenholme. We mould the hulls and superstructures ourselves ensuring that the best finish is produced; this high standard continues from the outside skin to the interior fit-out.
In fact most of the fit-out, inside and out, is based on well-finished joinery rather than standardised GRP mouldings. The teak decking is hand made from special templates for each individual craft. A table for example, could take our workshop a week to produce.
From shaping and insetting hardwood edging, through laying in the hinges individually for best fit, to finishing with several coats of lacquer spraying, care is taken to ensure that each item not only looks good on handover but will continue to look good after plenty of use for years to come.
